rooted in nature, blooming through design

Sunsets and sunrises, blooming flowers, and sprouting saplings— the tranquil beauty of nature’s constant evolution nourishes my creative flow and grounds my design process as it meanders, grows, adapts, and flourishes.

Before I turned 10, I lived in rural Louisiana, just outside of Baton Rouge, surrounded by fields, trees, fresh fruit, and endless opportunities to explore. Those formative years instilled in me a deep connection to nature, which has always been the heartwood, the supportive core, of my creative process. Today, I nurture over 120 houseplants in my urban home, which keeps me grounded and connected to the natural world. They remind me of the tranquil, nourishing natural havens I grew up in. These green sanctuaries, both in nature and within my home, serve as a constant source of inspiration, deeply influencing my design philosophy and my approach to creating calm, user-centered experiences.

Nurturing houseplants, basking in the outdoors, writing poetry, and immersing myself in music, art, and live concerts are passions that are seeds of curiosity, sprouting connections and branching endlessly into my creativity.

design philosophy

rooted in nature, blooming through design

Simple moments of peace in nature inspire me to create grounded and serene experiences.

Rooted in architecture, interior design, and graphic design, I cultivate visually harmonious, user-centered experiences that balance beauty and functionality.

I approach each project with patience, attention to detail, and a deep commitment to the user experience. I experiment with new ideas and explore patterns, usability, aesthetics, empathy, and emotion with functionality, all to create intuitive and meaningful interactions.

Favorite Album: Apollo XXI

Willow

Music is one of my favorite ways to stay grounded and inspired, always playing in the background as I work or relax. My taste spans many genres, but I’m most drawn to the soulful rhythms of Alternative R&B. This year, my top three artists: Frank Ocean, Steve Lacy, and Willow have created soundscapes that allow me to channel my inner UX Designer.

Favorite Album: WILLOW

Enjoying Mother Nature’s warm embrace, as her spirit gracefully evolves.

houseplants

Tending to my 180+ plant children keeps me grounded, a reminder that, like parenting, design thrives on nurturing growth and cultivating environments where life can flourish.
